IVSIGHT Studios is a division of 4SIGHT Sports GmbH i. G. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not legally required to. This English version is a courtesy translation; the German privacy policy is the binding one.
In short
This website is purely informational: there is no contact form, no customer account and no newsletter. We set no cookies and use no third-party advertising or tracking services. Fonts, images and videos are served from our own server; opening the site sends no data to Google, Meta or any other third party. We process personal data only as far as needed to deliver the website, to measure its reach anonymously and to answer your enquiries.
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. On every visit Vercel processes the data technically required to deliver the page to you: your IP address, date and time of the request, the address requested, the page you came from (referrer), the amount of data transferred, and your browser and operating system. This data serves the secure and stable delivery of the website and the defence against attacks; we do not combine it with other data or use it to identify visitors. It is kept only as long as these purposes require.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure, fast and error-free website. We have a data processing agreement with Vercel under Art. 28 GDPR. Where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Vercel is certified, and additionally on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Analytics with Vercel Web Analytics
To understand which pages are read, we use Vercel Web Analytics, a service of Vercel Inc. (address above). The measuring script is loaded from our own domain. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page viewed, the referring page, the time, browser, operating system, device type and the country derived from the IP address. The IP address itself is not stored. To group the page views of one visit, Vercel forms a hash from the request data that expires after 24 hours; recognising you across several days or building a profile across websites is therefore not possible. We only ever see aggregated statistics.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to evaluate the use of our website anonymously and to improve it. You can object to this processing at any time (see “Your rights”); technically, a content blocker, for example, prevents the measurement.
Storage in your browser
On the home page we remember for the length of your browser session that you have already seen the intro, so it plays shorter on later visits. For this we store the entry “ivsight:loader-seen” in your browser's session storage. It contains no personal data, is never sent to us and is deleted automatically when you close the tab. The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, as the entry only serves to display the page you requested as intended.
Contact by e-mail or phone
If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process your details, such as your name, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message, to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry concerns a contract or steps towards one, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering enquiries). We delete your data once the enquiry is settled, unless statutory retention periods, for example under commercial or tax law, apply.
Links to social networks and Google Maps
Our website links to our profiles on social networks (currently Instagram, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) and to Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). These are plain links, not embedded content: opening our site sends no data to these providers, and the map on our site is a static image. Only when you click a link do you leave our website. The respective provider is responsible for the processing on the target page; its privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). An informal message to info@4sightstudios.de is enough.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the one responsible for us: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, www.ldi.nrw.de.
